På vandring mot handling : utbyte av perspektiv i landskapet

Detta är en L3-uppsats från SLU/Dept. Of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management

Sammanfattning: Sustainable Development is often described as a balance between ecological, economical and social aspects. Between these exists a complicated interaction that creates conflicts in the planning of the landscape. We see a growing need for a functional interaction between values and interest and an understanding for different perspectives. Cooperation and dialogue are key ideas with the focus on cooperation rather than the goal. There is a lack of forum for dialogue and cooperation within municipalities where a great knowledge and competence are gathered. These resources are divided between sectors and areas of responsibility. We see the need for focusing on the communication within the municipalities and between different sectors. By modeling a dialogue method for inter-municipal exchange we want to use the knowledge that already exists in a much more affective way, to reach for a better understanding of the complex modern landscape. The dialogue method is taking the landscape and the knowledge of the civil servants as a starting point. It's a meeting form with purpose to create a cooperation built on the physical presence in the landscape and an exchange of perspectives between municipal sectors. Our work is built on the wish to try and develop the dialogue method and follow it up with discussion about the method as a work too in our tasks as landscape architects. By testing the dialogue method in a workshop, in a real project between two municipalities we gained real life experience and a greater knowledge about the dialogue method. By interviews with the participants in the workshop we could analyse and reflect upon the effects of the method. Conclusions have been drawn by analysis and theories.
