”Vi måste prata…” : En fallstudie om företagskulturell utveckling i omorganiserande företag
Sammanfattning: With a belief that organizational changes may change and affect the corporate culture, this study intends to create an understanding of possible effects. A business case has been used in this study and the intentions are to examine their particular experiences when going through an organizational change and their understanding of the effect on the corporate culture. The purpose is to understand the organizational changes possible impact on corporate culture. The methodology begins with a discussion of how knowledge is reached and insights gained, and also a discussion of what can be counted as acceptable knowledge. Our methodological approach consists mainly of interviews and via an inductive study we reach higher insights of the change factors and also the consequences of the changes. A description of how the data is analysed and converted to a useful theoretical framework is also presented here. Since the study aims to gain insight from an employee perspective, empirical data is presented in the form of interviews. To protect the respondents and preserve anonymity the interviews are presented as a compilation of what was said by all the respondents. The theoretical framework is derived from empirical data and covers corporate culture, communication, growth and reorganization with related subcategories to each subject. Empirical data will be analysed and compared with the theoretical framework in order to understand the possible consequences of organizational change on a corporate culture. The matching of the empirical data with the theoretical framework in which insights are gained and deeper understanding is reached.
