   Sammanfattning : A palynostratigraphic investigation of partly ammonite dated, Pliensbachian to Bathonian (Early – Middle Jurassic) strata on the Isles of Skye and Raasay, Inner Hebrides in Northwest Scotland, has recovered a diverse but not always well preserved miospore flora and a less diverse dinoflagellate cysts flora. The studied interval has been subdivided into five biozones, A - E, based on the first occurrence, common occurrence, first common occurrence, and relative abundance of pollen and spore key taxa.    Sammanfattning : Fourteen somewhat overlapping 1-m cores, forming a total sequence of about 10.90 metres, were retrieved from Taniente Palet bog on Isla de los Estados, Argentina. The cores were described and correlated both visually and by measuring magnetic susceptibility and loss on ignition. Twelve samples were also taken for radiocarbon dating. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : A core drilling at Almbacken in Södra Sandby, Scania, southern Sweden, penetrated a c. 30 m thick succession of Middle Cambrian-upper Lower Cambrian strata. The Middle Cambrian of this core is the most complete one so far documented in Scania. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : The only relatively undisturbed Ordovician to Middle Devonian sequence in the Bohemian Massif is preserved in the central parts of the Prague Basin. This part stretches c. 35 km from Prague in the north towards Zelkovice in the southwest. During Ordovician and Silurian times this area is thought to have been a part of the northern Gondwana margin. LÄS MER
