  1. 1. Prospects for a Free Electron Laser at the FemtoMAX Beamline

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Johan Holmberg; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Free Electron Lasers; FEL; synchrotron radiation; MAX IV; FemtoMAX; GENESIS 1.3; XFEL; X-rays; soft X-rays; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : A Free Electron Laser (FEL), is a device that generates extremely coherent and brilliant radiation using electrons accelerated to relativistic velocities in a particle accelerator. The process utilises similar equipment to what is used at a synchrotron source like MAX IV, but in addition there is an interaction between the relativistic electron beam and the generated radiation to achieve an exponential growth in radiation intensity. 2. 2. ATTRAHERA OCH BEHÅLLA REKRYTERARE - En kvantitativ undersökning inom rekryteringsbranschen om vad medarbetare uppskattar hos arbetsgivare

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / / Institutionen för sociologi och arbetsvetenskap

    Författare :Johanna Kalered Martinsson; Thyra Svensson; [2023-09-13]
    Nyckelord :Employer Branding; Employer Value Propositions; Generations; Human Resource Management; Talent Attraction;

    Sammanfattning : This study aims to investigate which employer value propositions, EVPs, are valued most highly by employees in the recruitment industry. The study's purpose is further extended to examine whether generational differences can be observed in the evaluation of EVPs. A quantitative approach with a questionnaire survey was used. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Hur använder man x egentligen?

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för matematiska vetenskaper

    Författare :Agnes Wallgren; [2023-04-19]
    Nyckelord :Bokstavssymboler; Algebra; Variabler; Elever; Matematik; Uppfattningar; Svårigheter; Missuppfattningar; Elevförståelse.;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis was to investigate whether students understanding of letter symbols in algebra has changed since Dietmar Küchemanns study in 1976, as well as to see whether teachers’ view on students understanding and their misconceptions correlate with the test results shown by the students. To be able to measure the students understanding, the same test that Küchemann used in 1976 was used on students aged 15/16 today (although on a much smaller scale), and the results were then analysed, and the students were categorised into different levels of understanding, based on the descriptions of the levels made by Küchemann in 1981. 4. 4. Creating a High-Throughput Workflow for Automated Peptide Characterization using LC-MS

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :Sara Forsberg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :High-throughput analysis; Impurity profiling; UHPLC-HRMS; Peptide characterization; Peptide descriptors; Analytical chemistry; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In the early stage of a drug discovery project, there is a need for efficient methods that can analyse peptides in short time. This includes methods that confirm the peptide’s identity and estimates its relative purity in an efficient and reliable way. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Developing a Test Method to Evaluate the Blackout Effect of Uncoated Curtains at Varying Angles

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Sara Muminovic; Christina Lindén; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Blackout effect; blackout curtain; uncoated woven curtains; angle interval; light transmission; light box; light diffuser; microscopic image analysis;

    Sammanfattning : This study aimed to explore the integration of varying angles in small-scale measurements and assess the light transmission performance of uncoated curtains. A total of four curtains were evaluated: blackout curtain samples 1 and 2 had a weft satin structure, while daytime curtain samples 3 and 4 consisted of a twill structure. LÄS MER
