  1. 11. Radioaktivt nedfall efter Tjernobylolyckan och den påverkan det haft på hjortdjur Cervidae och de människor som konsumerar köttet

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Public Health

    Författare :Sandra Lennartsson; [2014]
    Nyckelord :radioaktivt nedfall; Tjernobyl; cesium; hjortdjur; Cervidae; jägare; riskpopulation; radioactive fallout; Chernobyl; caesium; deer; hunters; risk population;

    Sammanfattning : Kärnkraftsolyckan i Tjernobyl 1986 spred radioaktivt nedfall över Europa och Sverige som kom att tas upp i ekosystemet av växter, djur och människor. I Sverige innebar det att älg (Alces alces), rådjur (Capreolus capreolus) och ren (Rangifer tarandus) fick förhöjda halter av Cesium-137, 137Cs, som i sin tur togs upp av de människor som åt av köttet. 2. 12. Experimental determination of shielding factor for a Swedish farmhouse

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Mikael Westin; [2014]
    Nyckelord :Shielding factor Protection factor Location factor Fallout gamma radiation; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The protection that different types of buildings can provide against gamma radiation from radioactive fallout has been investigated since the late 1950s. The DCPA Standard Method has served as the basis to determine this protection, which is given by the so called “protection factor”. Several studies in the U.S. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Radioktivt cesium (Cs-137) i vildsvin (Sus scrofa) från Tjernobyldrabbade områden i Sverige

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Emilie Hallqvist; [2013]
    Nyckelord :Cs-137; vildsvin; vildsvinskött; Tjernobylolyckan; radioekologi; strålning;

    Sammanfattning : In April 1986 an accident occurred at the nuclear power station in Chernobyl. Radionuclides were spread all over Europe including Sweden. Today there are still measurable concentrations of 137Cs in the different ecosystems in the contaminated parts of Sweden. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Transfer of radiocaesium (137Cs) to lynx (Lynx lynx) and brown bear (Ursus arctos) in Chernobyl affected areas in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Yury Chaiko; [2012]
    Nyckelord :radiocaesium; lynx; brown bear;

    Sammanfattning : In this study, 137Cs activity concentration was measured in 266 lynxes hunted in early spring during the years 2006-2011 in central and northern Sweden and in 161 bears hunted in the end of August until October during the years 2010 and 2011. Highest activity concentrations of 137Cs were observed in lynx and bear coming from counties with highest radiocaesium fallout after the Chernobyl accident. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Studies of the transfer of radionuclides and dose rate assessments in the pasture lands located in the counties of Uppsala and Jämtland

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Yosief Tesfatsion; [2012]
    Nyckelord :radionuclides; dose rate; transfer factor; migration; Chernobyl accident;

    Sammanfattning : The study was conducted in the pastoral lands of two Counties, Uppsala and Jämtland Counties. Soil and grass samples were collected from six study areas. Two from Uppsala County: Lövstalöt and Möjsjövik, and four from Jämtland County: Backfors, Hallen, Myrviken and Vikdrolet. LÄS MER
