1. Våld och domslut; en studie av Mellersta och Västra Värends domstolar samt Växjö Rådhusrätt, 1960-1970
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper (KV)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the development of violent crime in the geographical area belonging to the district courts of Mellersta- and Västra Värends, as well as Växjö Magistrate´s Court, during the period 1960—1970. The questions addressed include: What was the demographic distribution among crime victims and perpetrators in terms of gender, age, possible alcohol influence during the crime, and the relationships between the victim and the perpetrator? To what extent were young people perpetrators? How have the number of judgements changed over time? How can crime history be utilized in high school education? The prime material used consists of judgements from court records, and the theoretical frameworks include social vulnerability, peer influence and socialization, among others. LÄS MER

Detta för att analysera om medias gestaltning av ECT kan ha bidragit till stigmatiseringen av behandlingen och att behandlingen fick ett dåligt rykte under 1960- och 1970-talen och på så vis kan ha påverkat den allmänna opinionen. 4. "En dagstidning i betong" : en studie av den samtida receptionen av Siri Derkerts Ristningar i naturbetong (1965) på Östermalmstorgs tunnelbanestation i Stockholm
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Konstvetenskapliga institutionenSammanfattning : The aim of this study is to analyse the contemporary art critical reception of Siri Derkert’s Ristningar i naturbetong (translates to Engravings in natural concrete) (1965) at the metro station of Östermalmstorg in central Stockholm, and further contextualising the reception within the art debate of modern and public art in 1960’s Sweden. Using linguist Norman Fairclough’s three step-discourse analysis as both methodological and theoretical starting points, combined with art historian Wolfgang Kemp's reception aesthetics, archived newspaper articles, principally from the year 1965, are read and analysed in the study.
