  1. 1. Quality enhancement of time-resolved computed tomography scans with cycleGAN

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Johannes Stubbe; [2023]
    Nyckelord :carbon fibers; carbon fibres; microfibers; tomography; deep learning; cycleGAN; time-resolved tomography; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Time-resolved x-ray tomography enables us to dynamically and non-destructively study the interior of a specimen. The obtainable temporal resolution is limited by the x-ray flux and the desired spatial resolution. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Design and Modeling of InxGa(1−x)As/InP based Nanosheet Field Effect Transistors for High Frequency Applications

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Hanyu Liu; Xi Chen; [2023]
    Nyckelord :nanosheet NS ; gate-all-around GAA ; channel release; parasitic channel; MATLAB; COMSOL; technology node; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The advancement of CMOS technology has been fueled by the need to satisfy Moore’s law by shrinking transistors to progressively smaller sizes and increasing the transistor density per unit area [1]. The dimension of the state-of-the-art MOSFET is now down to a few nanometers. LÄS MER

  3. 3. 2D or not 2D: Assessing environmental awareness and cognitive load in mixed reality data visualizations : Visualizing gas leak data visualizations for an industrial surveying setting

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Julia Schwuchow; [2023]
    Nyckelord :environmental awareness; cognitive load; information visualization; mixed reality; sustainable HCI; miljomedvetenhet; kognitiv belastning; informationsvisualisering; mixad ¨ verklighet; hallbar MDI;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing the environmental awareness of invisible data, such as a city’s air pollution or a household’s energy consumption, has been an ongoing information visualization challenge that has entered the fields of immersive technologies like augmented (AR) and mixed reality (MR). In order to understand how form and dimensional affect this understanding for MR environments, this research investigated what the difference between statistical, iconographic 2D and physical 3D visualizations is with regards to minimizing cognitive load and fostering environmental awareness. Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för byggteknik (BY)

    Författare :Honghao Ren; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Orthotropic material; Largedeformation; Two-dimension; Non-linear elasticity;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis involves the derivation of a constitutive model under large deformationtheory using Updated Lagrange method applied on an orthotropic material.Thefollowing aspects are included in this thesis work: introduction, theory, FEM implementation, derivation of constitutive model, calibration, result, discussion, conclusion and the future work. 5. 5. Image Reconstruction Techniques using Kaiser Window in 2D CT Imaging

    Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för fysik och elektroteknik (IFE)

    Författare :Md Monowarul Islam; Muftadi Ullah Arpon; [2020]
    Nyckelord :CT Imaging; Parallel-Beam Projection; 2D FFT; Radon Transform; Filters; Window Functions; Kaiser window; Inverse Fourier Transform; FBP.;

    Sammanfattning : The traditional Computed Tomography (CT) is based on the Radon Transform and its inversion. The Radon transform uses parallel beam geometry and its inversion is based on the Fourier slice theorem. LÄS MER
