    Kandidat-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datalogi och datorsystemteknik

    Författare :Mohamed Hassan; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Human perception; Big data; N-dimensional Data; Visualization.;

    Sammanfattning : Context. Big data visualization is a vital part of today's technological advancement. It is about visualizing different variables on a graph, map, or other means often in real-time. Objectives. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Overviewing and VR information visualizations : How interacting with, and perceiving an information visualization in VR affects our overview of the information visualization

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för datavetenskap och kommunikation (CSC)

    Författare :Anton Sivertsson; [2017]
    Nyckelord :vr; information visualization; infovis; overview;

    Sammanfattning : Society generates more and more data every day, and with competent ways to visualize it, we can learn new things about the world we live in. While traditional visualizations try to stay clear of 3D graphs because they are hard for a user to process without proper depth cues, VR technology allows us to better perceive 3D structures, but what happens to our overview of the data when we perceive and interact with it in 3D? 6 participants were subject to a 3D VR visualization of customer data with filtering possibilities, where they were to perform a series of short tasks as well as a more open-ended free form task. 3. 3. Visual Data Mining : An Approach to Hybrid 3D Visualization

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Institutionen Handels- och IT-högskolan

    Författare :Davood Zall; [2012]
    Nyckelord :Visual Data Mining; 3D-Graphs; Advantages; Disadvantages; Limitations; Hybrid techniques;

    Sammanfattning : By increasing the volume and complexity of datasets, Visual Data Mining (VDM), new visualization techniques evolved and new techniques released. However, some of these techniques performing well and cover all expectations; the others failed to save their positions. The main issue of such techniques is problem dependency. LÄS MER
