  1. 1. Geological 3D Modelling ofthe File Hajdar Quarry, Slite

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Friberg Nils; [2023]
    Nyckelord :3D-modelling; Cementa; limestone; resistivity; Gotland; 3D-modellering; Cementa; kalksten; resistivitet; Gotland;

    Sammanfattning : Located on the island of Gotland, Sweden, the File Hajdar limestone quarry is an important locality for domestic cement production. With depositional settings generally related to shallow sea carbonate ramps, the lithologies encountered on File Hajdar range from reef-associated limestone units to more basinal deposition of marls. 2. 2. 3D modelling and resistivity measurements for hydrogeological assessments in the northern part of Vombsänkan

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Farid Khorshidian; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Conceptual 3D modelling; Resistivity; Hydrogeology; Blue Transition; Vombsänkan; Vombverket; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The geology of Vombsänkan is characterized by a complex sequence of Quaternary deposits overlying the Paleozoic sedimentary bedrock. The area is 759 km2 and has recorded several ice advances followed by glacial retreats and ice melting. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Kinematic Enrolment in Four Ordovician Trilobites Using Three-Dimensional Modelling

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Paleobiologi

    Författare :Alejandro Corrales Garcia; [2023]
    Nyckelord :3D modelling; Blender; Dysplanus centrotus; enrolment kinematics; Gyrometopus lineatus; Illaenus sarsi; Ordovician; trilobites; Trilobiter; Enrollering; 3D-modellering; Blender; Modelos 3D; Blender; cinematica; enrollamiento; Ordovicico; trilobites;

    Sammanfattning : Trilobites were a successful group of marine arthropods that thrived for much of the Palaeozoic Era. Akey innovation of trilobites involved the capacity to enrol their biomineralized exoskeletons for protection; a trait that appeared early in their evolutionary history during the Cambrian Period. 4. 4. Using a GIS to enable an economic, land use and energy output comparison between small wind powered turbines and large-scale wind farms: the case of Oslo, Norway.

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Colin Potter; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Geography; GIS; Wind power; Renewable energy sources; urban wind energy; urban areas; planning; vertical axis wind turbines; comparative studies; urban integrated energy systems; Oslo; Roan; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Responding to an identified knowledge gap, the study aims to determine if smaller wind turbines located on top of existing urban buildings are more resource efficient (land utilization and economically) than large scale wind farms. To answer this question, using a GIS, the resource efficiency of the Roan wind farm in Northern Norway was compared to a theoretical modeled installation of small-scale wind turbines on top of buildings within a 2km radius study zone in central Oslo. 5. 5. Analys av sättningar genom 3D-modellering av provbank på MC-förstärkt lera

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Jord- och bergmekanik

    Författare :Ida Olsen Norgren; Johan Lüning; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of the thesis is to numerically and analytically predict settlements from a test embankment constructed on MC-reinforced clay in Täby Park. The thesis also provides a description of how the test embankment should be instrumented to enable comparison with the calculated settlements. LÄS MER
