    Författare :Barath Kumar Sathish Kumar; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Radio Frequency energy harvesting; Antenna as a sensor; Long-Term Evolution; Rectifier; Printed Circuit Board; Altium Designer; Matching network; Voltage multiplier; Schottky diodes; Multiband LTE antenna; Ambient energy harvesting; Low power Internet of Things; Wireless power transfer; Radiofrekvensenergiskörd; Antenn som sensor; LTE; Likriktare; Printed Circuit Board; Altium Designer; Matchande nätverk; Spänningsmultiplikator; Schottky-dioder; Multiband LTE-antenn; Omgivande energiskörd; Lågeffekt Internet of Things; Trådlös kraftöverföring;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis primarily deals with the concept of designing an antenna based device to harvest energy from Radio Frequency (RF) and using the harvested energy to sense the available Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in order for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices to connect to the network for the purpose of transmitting and receiving data. Secondarily the importance of this project is targeting how to conserve battery power in an IoT device and extend it’s lifetime. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Development of a Plug and Play Solution for Commercial Off-grid Solar Refrigeration : Presenting a Battery Supported System Providing the AC Power Required to run a Coolfinity 300L Commercial Refrigerator

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Martijn de Groot; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Solar refrigeration; Off grid refrigeration; Photovoltaic performance estimation; DC to AC conversion;

    Sammanfattning : In this report the design and testing of a plug and play system to run Coolfinity’s Icevolt 300 refrigerator on solar panels is discussed. Such a system will be able to provide adequate cooling for food & beverages in area’s with unreliable or no electricity available. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Impacts of UHV AC Transmission Lines on Traditional Line Differential Protection Functions

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :MD Zakaria Habib; [2016]
    Nyckelord :UHV lines phenomenon; Line differential protection; Capacitive charging current compensation;

    Sammanfattning : UHV transmission lines have several advantages when it comes to transferring of bulk amount ofpower in long distances. Although the technology is available from 1980’s, the number of UHVtransmission lines around the world has been increased in the beginning of this century in orderto supply the high demand of electricity. 5. 5. Kiselkarbidtransistorer i växelriktare för solceller

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, KTH/Skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik (ICT)

    Författare :Adam Shafai; Wei Zhao; [2014]
    Nyckelord :Silicon carbide; Bipolar junction transistor; PV Inverter; Solar cells.; Kiselkarbid; Bipolär transistor; Växelriktare; Solceller.;

    Sammanfattning : Since the first commercial silicon carbide (SiC) transistor was released, the interest in SiC has grown exponentially [1]. The wide energy band gap, high critical electric field and thermal conductivity of silicon carbide allow it to withstand higher voltage/current gains than conventional semiconductor materials [2].
