11. Towards a tunable, wide-band acoustic transducer operating in the quantum regime.
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysikSammanfattning : In the past decade we have seen fast development of new quantum technologies that promise to revolutionise communications and computing. Many different routes are explored to physically implement such quantum technologies. Among others, we can mention superconducting circuits, spin-based devices and photonic devices. LÄS MER
12. Applicerbarhet av Scaled Reassigned Spectrogram for Transient Signals (ReSTS) på ultraljudssignaler från biologisk vävnad
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : The possibility of being able to examine the inside of the human body is the foundation of today’s medical diagnostics. This can be done through different imaging systems, where ultrasound is one of the most important imaging methods used. LÄS MER
13. Acoustic Doppler Current Profiling for streamflow measurements in subarctic climate
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurserSammanfattning : The ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiling) technology has been widely available and acknowledged as an instrument used for different types of flow measurement since 1990s, from small scale river measurements to larger ocean current mappings. This study was conducted by the author in cooperation with SWECO with the focus on smaller scale measurements especially on small natural watercourses in a sub-arctic climate with the purpose to examine if the ADCP technology can be used as a complement to the more classic methods for this type of flow measurements Current meter and Conductivity flow measurements. 14. Measuring Acoustic Mobility of Particles by Particle Tracking Velocimetry
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : Acoustophoresis is a method to manipulate and move cells or particles suspended in a medium using acoustic waves. The speed of the acoustophoretic motion depends on the cells' acoustic mobility, i.e. their size, density and compressibility relative to the medium. LÄS MER
15. Synthetic gel particle formation for acoustofluidic applications
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : Cancer cell detection by particle sorting systems is a very challenging field which could help to discover cancers at an earlier stage. Acoustophoresis used as a particle sorting system is based on the difference between the acoustic properties of particles and the medium. LÄS MER
