1. DIFFERENCES ON THE IMPACTS AND ORIGINS OF POLLEN IN FOUR MAJOR SWEDISH CITIES BETWEEN 2014 AND 2019
Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskapSammanfattning : Allergies are widespread in the world and coming from various sources, one of the causes being airborne allergens and especially, pollen. The negative impact of pollen is enhanced by pollution and climate change which are some of the biggest issue humankind is facing today. LÄS MER
2. Edge Machine Learning for Wildlife Conservation : A part of the Ngulia project
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/ReglerteknikSammanfattning : The prominence of Edge Machine Learning is increasing swiftly as the performance of microcontrollers continues to improve. By deploying object detection and classification models on edge devices with camera sensors, it becomes possible to locate and identify objects in their vicinity. LÄS MER
3. Adapting the PIC/FLIP fluid simulation method to produce a LEGO water animation & evaluating its performance
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Fluid simulation in computer graphics is a well-researched field used to simulate water in different ways. Although computer graphics techniques in this area usually aim towards creating realistic representations, they can also deviate to create stylized animations of water that adopt different aesthetics whilst maintaining certain aspects of realism. 4. Väder- och klimatförändringars effekter på produktivitet och sedimentation i en boreal sjö
Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskapSammanfattning : This report aimed to investigate how chlorophyll-concentrations (Chl-a) in the water column and varved sediments were affected by changes in air temperature and precipitation and consequently how climate change will affect the sedimentation and productivity in boreal aquatic ecosystems. VRS (visible-reflectance-spectroscopy) was used to asses Chl-a and its derivates in sediment trap samples between 2002-2021 and in a series of freeze cores (1979-2021) from lake Nylandssjön, with annually laminated sediments. 5. Coolant Filling Simulation Model in 1D with GT-Suite : A Study on Scania's Electric Truck's Battery Cooling Circuit
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : Driven by the goal of decreasing emissions and pollutants towards a more sustainable future, the automotive industry is undergoing a rapid transition towards battery-powered electric vehicles. This shift to sustainable transport is fast-paced, and new technical solutions are being offered on a regular basis to fulfil the future needs for electric vehicles, including battery-electric trucks.
