  1. 1. Arbitrary motion Synthetic Aperture Radar

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Filip Alberius; Erik Rolander; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RADAR; SAR; Synthetic Aperture Radar; Pulsed Coherent Radar; PCR; VR; Virtual Reality; IMU; Inertial Measurment Unit; VAA; Virtual Antenna Array; Obstacle detection; Signal Processing; Matched Filter Method.; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna avhandling är att utveckla en ny metod för att producera bilder med syntetisk aperturradar (SAR), med utgångspunkt i scenarier med arbiträr rörelse vad gäller radarsensorn. SAR är en väletablerad metod för att skapa 2- eller 3-dimensionella radarbilder, som traditionellt sett antar att radar-sensorns rörelse är linjär och förutsägbar. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Tracking Under Countermeasures Using Infrared Imagery

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Datorseende

    Författare :Sara Modorato; [2022]
    Nyckelord :computer vision; infrared imagery; tracking; countermeasures; discriminative correlation filters; Efficient Convolution Operator tracker; Spatial-Temporal Regularized Correlation Filter tracker; Visual Object Tracking; flare; DIRCM; multiple wavelength bands; features;

    Sammanfattning : Object tracking can be done in numerous ways, where the goal is to track a target through all frames in a sequence. The ground truth bounding box is used to initialize the object tracking algorithm. Object tracking can be carried out on infrared imagery suitable for military applications to execute tracking even without illumination. LÄS MER

  3. 3. An Adaptive IMM-UKF method for non-cooperative tracking of UAVs from radar data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Hólmfrídur Elvarsdottir; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Radar tracking; Kalman filters; UAV Unmanned Arial Vehicle ; IMM Interacting Multiple Model ; Nonlinear filters; Radar spårning; Kalmanfilter; Obemannade luftfarkoster; IMM Interacting Multiple Model ; Olinjära filter;

    Sammanfattning : With the expected growth of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) traffic in the coming years, the demand for UAV tracking solutions in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) industry has been incentivized. To ensure the safe integration of UAVs into airspace, Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems will need to provide a number of services such as UAV tracking. LÄS MER

  4. 4. LES modelling of spray combustion

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Arvid Åkerblom; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Gas Turbine; CFD; Large Eddy Simulation; Lagrangian Particle Tracking; Chemical Kinetics; Reaction Mechanism; Combustion; OpenFOAM; CHEMKIN; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Computational fluid dynamics is a powerful method for understanding the flow and combustion that occurs inside aircraft engines and will be a key tool in the transition from conventional fossil-based fuel to sustainable alternatives. Because conventional fuels have been more widely researched, an attempt at simulating the combustion of alternative fuels should be preceded by the development of a method that is capable of accurately simulating the combustion of a conventional fuel. 5. 5. Implementation and comparison of the Aircraft Intent Description Language and point-mass Non-Linear Dynamic Inversion approach to aircraft modelling in Modelica

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Fluida och mekatroniska system

    Författare :Arcot Manjunath Shreepal; Shree Harsha Vijaya Kumar; [2021]
    Nyckelord :aircraft Modelling; Modelling and Simulation; Aircraft Intent; model-based systems engineering; Flight dynamics; Longitudinal stability; Aircraft Modelling; Non-linear Dynamic Inversion; Conceptual aircraft design; Dynamic Inversion; control methods; aircraft plant model; Object-oriented aircraft model; Air traffic management; Modelica; Modelon Impact; Modelica tool; 3DoF; AIDL; point-mass model;

    Sammanfattning : The study is conducted to determine practical modelling and simulation techniques to perform dynamic stability and performance analysis on a 3 Degrees of freedom aircraft model using a Modelica-based commercial tool called Modelon Impact. This study is based on a conceptual aircraft model where in-depth details about the aircraft configuration are unknown and the aim is to determine a suitable model that can capture the longitudinal dynamics and aerodynamic constraints of the aircraft during the conceptual design phase.
