  1. 1. Characterization of Cu-mineralized carbonate veins in the Alta-Kvænangen Tectonic Window, Norway

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Författare :Ellen Svens; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Greenstone belt; IOCG; Svecokarelian orogeny; Alta-Kvænangen Tectonic Window; Bergmark anticline;

    Sammanfattning : The Alta-Kvænangen Tectonic Window is part of a regional greenstone belt that formed around 2.3 Ga – 2.0 Ga. The Bergmark anticline in the area has gone through greenschist to amphibolite facies metamorphism and hosts Cu, Co and Au mineralizations in hydrothermal veins, albite felsite and chemical traps. 2. 2. Character and Evolution of Ore Mineralisation in the Te-Rich Enåsen Au-Cu Deposit, Central Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Simon Pieslinger; [2023]
    Nyckelord :ore geology; partial melting; quenching textures; symplectite; tellurides; critical metals;

    Sammanfattning : The Enåsen gold deposit is located in Gävleborg county in central Sweden. Mining operations at Enåsen took place from 1984 to 1991 with Au as the main target for exploitation. The deposit has been interpreted as a metamorphosed Palaeoproterozoic analogue to near-recent epithermal Au mineralisations of a high sulphidation type. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Paleomagnetic and Thermomagnetic Studies on Rock Samples from COSC - 1 Drilling Project

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Geofysik

    Författare :Wanyi Li; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Scandinavian Caledonides; remanent magnetization; AF demagnetization; temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility; Skandinaviska Kaledoniderna; remanent magnetism; växelfältsavmagnetisering; temperaturberoende av magnetisk susceptibilitet;

    Sammanfattning : The COSC-1 borehole located in the Lower Seve nappe of the Central Scandinavian Caledonides is intended to study the tectonic evolution of the Paleozoic orogen. The drilling project reached a depth of 2495.8m and obtained samples from different lithologal units of mica schist, amphibolite, gneiss, and mylonitic gneisses. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Petrography and Thermodynamic Modelling of Svecofennian Arsenic-bearing Metasupracrustal Rocks in the Arlanda Area, West-Central Fennoscandian Shield

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Klara Skoog; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Bergslagen; Svecokarelian orogeny; metamorphism; arsenic; optical microscopy; electron microprobe; thermodynamic modelling; Bergslagen; Svecokarelska orogenesen; metamorfos; arsenik; optisk mikroskopering; elektron mikrosond; termodynamisk modellering;

    Sammanfattning : The Arlanda area is a construction intensive area facing problems with risk of leaching of arsenic (As) from the bedrock to surface- and groundwater. Construction projects in the area have had problems with high levels of As in the bedrock and the risk of leaching increases through processing of aggregates and blasting of the bedrock. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Feasibility of Enhanced Geothermal Systems in the Precambrian crystalline basement in SW Scania, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Hanna Kervall; [2021]
    Nyckelord :EGS; deep drilling; geothermal; petrology; petrophysical properties; Sveconorwegian; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The ability to evaluate the geothermal potential at a depth of five to six kilometres in the crystalline bedrock is crucial for the EGS-technology to be utilized in the future. This work focuses primarily on presenting expected geological conditions at great depths in southwestern Scania. The study is based on information from E. LÄS MER
