    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I investigate the relation between assessed speaking proficiency and measured complexity and accuracy in twenty test-takers’ performance in the oral part of the Swedish certificate test Swedex B2. Accuracy and complexity have been measured in seven different ways; both global and local measures from the CAF (Complexity–Accuracy–Fluency) triad have been used. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This paper tests the hypothesis, that the Swedish word kvinna ’women’ isn’t used as much in colloquial language as the corresponding word man ’man’. Language users, the hypothesis says, prefer alternative words, such as tjej ’girl’, dam ’lady’, or tant ’aunt’, when they talk about adult persons of female sex which is not the case when they talk about adult persons of male sex. Adorno's theories about the relation between society and lyrics, and critical theories about postmodernism, it can be seen in Bob Hansson's lyrics how he tries on the one hand to write in a modernistic tradition but, on the other, is very influenced by postmodernism which results in a conspicuous self-distance and self-contempt.
