  1. 1. Multipath Modelling for 60 GHz Short Range Radar

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Andre Nüsslein; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Radar; Surveillance; Multipath; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : If radar surveillance systems are installed near a wall, their radiation is reflected not only from moving objects but also from the wall. In this way, nonexisting socalled ghost targets can lead to false detections. This thesis exploits such ghost detections to infer the position and extension of a wall next to a radar sensor. 2. 2. Particle-Size Effects on the Enhanced Diffusion of Tracer Particles in Microswimmer Suspensions

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Fysikalisk kemi

    Författare :Andre Nüsslein; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Microswimmers; Soft Matter; Tracer Particles; Lattice-Boltzmann; Simulation; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Active suspensions of microswimmers such as bacteria or microalgae are found in oceans or lakes, and within living organisms, such as the human body. These suspensions can exhibit complex flow patterns and enhanced diffusion of passive tracer particles due to the advection from the long-ranged dipolar flow fields of the swimmers. LÄS MER

  3. 3. A Fabry–Pérot Cavity for Rare-Earth-Ion-Doped Nanocrystals

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Andre Nüsslein; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Quantum Computer; Rear Earth Ions; Cavity; Laser; Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics; QED; Solidworks; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis work contributes to the effort of detecting single rare earth ions doped into crystals, an operation crucial for the development of rare earth quantum computer hardware. Doping crystals with rare earth elements, their trivalent ions substitute some of the crystal’s original bonds. LÄS MER
