    Sammanfattning : The 14th of November 2005 Lund University decided that all research at the univer-sity if possible shall be published in scientific journals with free online access or in journals that allow self-archiving (Open access). This is a reaction to the dissatisfac-tion with commercial journals whose prices have risen continuously and the possibili-ties offered by the internet to spread information. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The focus of this thesis is the issues regarding the administration of licensed academic resources in resarch libraries and the role of the research library when trading with these resources. It is explored what possibilities and dangers that comes with the ways that libraries handle academic resources, ways that are closely linked to the market criteria in which external commercial actors in different ways are in control of the resources.
