    Sammanfattning : Major and trace element data taken from plagioclase crystals from anorthosites and related rock units in the Hakefjorden Complex located off the west coast of Sweden were investigated for the purposes of constraining magma chamber processes and the source of the magma. Although the anorthosite units were completely homogenous in regards to its chemistry, the plagioclase in the associated norite and ilmenite-leuconorite units showed substantial variation. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The studied intrusion, the Hakefjorden Complex on Älgön is a norite-anorthosite complex situated in the archipelago on the west coast of Sweden. The origin of the intrusion will be deduce through in situ Sr-isotope analysis by MC-ICP-MS (multiple collector- inductively coupled plasma- mass spectrometry) on plagioclase, together with petrographic description and chemical analysis. Det finns dessutom två tillhörande enheter; en marginell monzonorit och en centralt belägen ilmenitberikad norit (IRL).     Sammanfattning : The high plateau of Luottolako constitutes a topographical area strongly contrasting from the rugged Sarek Mountains. Older geological maps show that not only the topography, but also the bedrock is different compared to the surrounding massifs.
