  1. 1. Skadeinsekter i sockerbetor

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Ecology

    Författare :Isak Brånstrand; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Aphis fabae; Atomaria linearis; Chaetocnema concinna; Pegomya hyoscyami; Thrips angusticeps; Beta vulgaris ssp; sockerbetor; neonikotinoider; integrerat växtskydd;

    Sammanfattning : Det finns ett flertal skadeinsekter som kan angripa sockerbetor i Sverige och Danmark. 2018 förbjöds betning med neonikotionider vilket har varit ett säkert skydd mot insekter i sockerbetor. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Virus yellows in sugar beets in Sweden and Europe

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. Of Plant Biology

    Författare :Alma Gustavsson Ruus; [2020]
    Nyckelord :virus yellows; BYV; BMYV; BChV; BWYV; sugar beet; Myzus persicae; green peach aphid; Aphis fabae; black bean aphid; neonicotinoids;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis describes virus yellows in sugar beets and converse both older and new knowledge about the viruses, vector and host relations and the control measures against the disease. The aim is to explore new potential control measures and to predict how the disease may affect agriculture in the future. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Preferences of the common garden ant (Lasius niger) in choice of aphid mutualist : Possibilities to increase biological control of the rosy apple aphid (Dysaphis plantaginea)

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)

    Författare :Olle Danielsson; [2015]
    Nyckelord :Aphid; ant; Lasius niger; mutualism; biological control; rosy apple aphid;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to acquire knowledge about the preferences regarding aphids of the ant Lasius niger (common garden ant), commonly found attending aphids and protecting them agains their natural enemies in apple orchards around the world. By knowing this, it is hypothesized that another plant can be brought into an orchard carrying another aphid, more suitable as an ant-mutualist, to compete with the pest aphid present on site. LÄS MER
