  1. 1. Miljöanpassade byggnadsmaterial : Material- och miljöklassificieringar

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Adnan Besic; Nicole Johansson; [2018]
    Nyckelord :BREEAM-SE; LEED; Miljöbyggnad; SundaHus; Basta; BVB; Svanen; CEmärkning; P-märkning; BVD; BREEAM; LEED; Miljöbyggnad; SundaHus; Basta; BVB; Svanen; CE-märkning; P-märkning; BVD;

    Sammanfattning : Vi lever idag i ett samhälle där stort fokus ligger på miljöfrågor och framförallt på energisnåla byggnader. En fråga som enkelt glöms bort är vad för typer av produkter och material som faktiskt byggs in i våra byggnader. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Prevalence of pestivirus in reindeer : a study of reindeer populations in Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Public Health

    Författare :Caroline Aurosell; [2018]
    Nyckelord :BVD; border disease; bovine viral diarrhoea; BVDV; epidemiology; extensive animal husbandry; ruminants;

    Sammanfattning : Pestivirus includes four viral species, causing disease and major economic losses in animal production all over the world. The viruses can also infect a wide range of wild animal species, of which the clinical relevance of pestivirus infection is not much investigated. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Prevalence of microorganisms in reindeer(Rangifer tarandustarandus)and possible effects of climate changes.

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Ida Eklund; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Next generation sequencing; serology; realtime-PCR; Sweden; reindeer husbandry;

    Sammanfattning : The climate in the north is changing over time, which affects the nature in many ways. For instance, some microorganisms that cause infections might become more common. This might have negative consequences for reindeer husbandry. In Sweden, this is an industry that is relatively large. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Prevalence and risk factors for BVDV in goats and cattle in and around Gaborone, Botswana

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Public Health

    Författare :Sara Lysholm; [2017]
    Nyckelord :BVDV; Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus; seroprevalence; risk factors; Botswana; goats; cattle; livestock; Bovint Virus Diarré Virus; seroprevalens; riskfaktorer; getter; nötkreatur; boskap;

    Sammanfattning : SUMMARY Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus (BVDV) is a cause of severe deterioration in animal health as well as grave economic losses globally. Infection is often inapparent but the virus can also cause respiratory signs, diarrhoea, pyrexia, decreased production, immunosuppression and reproductive problems such as increased calving intervals and abortions. 5. 5. Seroprevalence of CCPP, FMDV, BTV and BVDV among small ruminants in Tanzania : A minor field study with focus on differential diagnoses of peste des petits ruminants virus

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Clinical Sciences

    Författare :Malin Päärni; [2016]
    Nyckelord :peste des petits ruminants virus; foot and mouth disease virus; bluetongue virus; bovine viral diarrhoea; border disease virus; contagious caprine pleuropneumonia; seroprevalence; Tanzania; sheep; goats;

    Sammanfattning : This degree project has been performed as a Minor Field Study (MFS) in Tanzania, investigating the seroprevalence in goats and sheep of three diseases causing similar signs as peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV): foot and mouth disease (FMD), bluetongue (BT) and contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP), as well as bovine viral diarrhoea (BVD) and border disease (BDV) which is believed to affect an outbreak of PPR due to immunosuppression. Sheep and goats play a key role in national food and nutritional security, income security and livelihood resilience in the least economically developed countries across the world and because of the complicated epidemiology and socio-economic impact of these diseases it is of great interest to further evaluate the prevalence of PPRV and its differential diagnosis.
