  1. 1. Using UX design principles for comprehensive data visualisation

    M1-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Umar Ali; Rabi Sulaiman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :data visualisation; user experience; user interface design; usability testing; interac- tive charts; RAMP; ergonomic risk assessment; workplace safety; manual handling; risk management; datavisualisering; användarupplevelse; användargränssnittsdesign; användbarhets- testning; interaktiva diagram; RAMP; ergonomisk riskbedömning; arbetsplatssäker- het; manuell hantering; riskhantering;

    Sammanfattning : Workplace safety, particularly in manual handling tasks, is a critical concern that hasbeen increasingly addressed using advanced risk assessment tools. However, pre-senting the complex results of these assessments in an easily digestible format re-mains a challenge. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Abstract Introduction: The case study has been conducted at AB GotlandsHem, the largest housing agency on the island of Gotland, Sweden. The study has two purposes. The first purpose is to map and examine the workload distribution in the inspection department by developing a generalizable template. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Evaluating the use of Brush and Tooltip for Time Series visualizations: A comparative study

    Kandidat-uppsats, Malmö universitet/Fakulteten för teknik och samhälle (TS)

    Författare :André Eklund; Sebastian Helin; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Time series visualisations; time series visualizations; Tooltip; Brush; Graphical Perception; Estimation Time; Accuracy; Line chart; Bar chart; Time series;

    Sammanfattning : This study uses a combination of user testing and analysis to evaluate the impact of brush and tooltip on the comprehension of time series visualizations. Employing a sequential mixed-methods approach, with qualitative data from semi-structured interviews used to inform the design of a visualization tool, followed by a quantitative user study to validate it. 4. 4. Semi-Automatic calculation of the stability of shear walls in multi-storey buildings

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Konstruktionsteknik

    Författare :Erik Bolin; Emil Sjöstedt; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Horizontal stabilisation; Dynamo; Shear walls; Stability; Conceptual design phase; Visual programming; Openings in shear walls; Load distribution; Relative stiffness; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Performing horizontal stability analysis in the conceptual design phase is time consuming and adjustments in the geometry of the building require new time consuming calculations. Often buildings are modelled in 3D modelling software such as Revit and Tekla but the calculations are often performed in a separate software. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Control charts for statistical quality control of Swedish stroke care using Riksstroke data

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Statistik

    Författare :Edvin Morin; Martiina Novossad; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to implement statistical quality control to stroke care in Sweden by designing control charts for data from the Riksstroke registry to detect potential unnatural, or special cause variation in the years 2019-2020. Suitable control charts were designed for three quality indicators: the time elapsed from hospital admission to receiving reperfusion therapy (door-to-needle time), the proportion of patients directly admitted to stroke unit, and the fatality rate.
