6. Evaluating a coarse-grained IDP-model for structure and dynamics
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Biofysikalisk kemiSammanfattning : In this study a coarse-grained model of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) is evaluated to determine whether the model is suitable to use for analyzing the structure and dynamics of IDPs. IDPs are proteins that lack a stable tertiary structure which gives them a flexible structure. LÄS MER
7. Towards Ca2+ Responsive Reticular Materials. An Evaluation of Suitable Conditions for Self-Assembly of the Protein S100G
8. Purification Methods for Solid-State NMR Analysis of Influenza A M2[18-60]
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Biofysikalisk kemiSammanfattning : With viral infections becoming an ever-increasing health problem in the world, the study of viral proteins is a cornerstone for understanding and preventing future pandemics. The following work shows the purification and structural characterization of the Influenza A M2 proton channel through solid-state NMR (ssNMR). LÄS MER
9. A Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study of the Protein Stability of Reteplase in Formulation with Various Excipients during Freeze-Drying Processing
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Biofysikalisk kemiSammanfattning : The purpose of this project was to investigate protein stabilization by formulation excipients during the process of freeze-drying using Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation. A recombinant therapeutic protein, Reteplase, was used as a model and the study focused on a comparative analysis of two excipients, arginine and tranexamic acid (TXA), as included in commercially available formulations of Reteplase. 10. Development of Next-Generation Optical Tweezers : The New Swiss Army Knife of Biophysical and Biomechanical Research
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysikSammanfattning : In a time when microorganisms are controlling the world, research in biology is more relevant than ever and this requires some powerful instruments. Optical tweezers use a focused laser beam to manipulate and probe objects on the nano- and microscale. LÄS MER
