1. Classifying Google reCAPTCHA v2 - A study using transfer learning models and evaluating their robustness against adversarial perturbations
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Statistiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Nationalekonomiska institutionenSammanfattning : This thesis seeks to examine the suitability and robustness of transfer learning models in creating an efficient reCAPTCHA v2 classifier, and further evaluates their performance against various adversarial attacks. Three models - DenseNet201, EfficientNetV2, and InceptionV3 - were trained and assessed, highlighting the applicability of transfer learning techniques in the classification of reCAPTCHA v2 challenges. 2. BOT management trough CAPTCHA : A study of which factors that make for the most usable, effective and unobtrusive CAPTCHA implementations
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : CAPTCHA, which stands for completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart, is a system that can be implemented in a software application with the purpose of differentiating between bot users and humans users (the CAPTCHA system works in a way that a challenge is given to to the users of the application, were the challenge is easy to solve for humans users while it is difficult for bots). The idea is that a bot should not be able to access parts of the application that requires solving a CAPTCHA. LÄS MER
3. Bot or Human: Identifying BotGenerated Clicks Using Machine Learning
Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : “I’m not a robot” is a common CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) often shown today upon entering websites. The purpose behind the challenge is to distinguish hu mans from robots, or bots. However, the user experience becomes somewhat intrusive and is not always viable for many websites. LÄS MER
4. Hardened Registration Process for Participatory Sensing
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Participatory sensing systems need to gather information from a largenumber of participants. However, the openness of the system is a doubleedgedsword: by allowing practically any user to join, the system can beabused by an attacker who introduces a large number of virtual devices. LÄS MER
5. A non-visible user input-based CAPTCHA
Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för informationsteknologiSammanfattning : During the last decade, there has been an increase in the number of automated programs (bots) that perform tasks such as harvesting information or making posts on social media. CAPTCHA was developed as a defense against bots, but several common CAPTCHAs have usability issues and are difficult for users to solve. LÄS MER
