    Sammanfattning : As Machine Learning (ML) methods have gained traction in recent years, someproblems regarding the construction of such methods have arisen. One such problem isthe collection and labeling of data sets. Specifically when it comes to many applicationsof Computer Vision (CV), one needs a set of images, labeled as either being of someclass or not. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Self-Supervised Representation Learning for Content Based Image Retrieval

    Författare :Hariprasath Govindarajan; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Content Based Image Retrieval; CBIR; Representation Learning; Self Supervised Learning; Unsupervised Learning; Attention Mechanism; Noise Contrastive Estimation; Autonomous Driving;

    Sammanfattning : Automotive technologies and fully autonomous driving have seen a tremendous growth in recent times and have benefitted from extensive deep learning research. State-of-the-art deep learning methods are largely supervised and require labelled data for training. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Deep Learning for Object Detection and Retrieval with Intel's NCS - as part of Autonomous Wheelchair Navigation

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Georgios Tsiatsios; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Deep Learning is one of the most approved research trends currently and has brought revolutionary advances in several computer vision applications. Its versatility and robustness motivated us to develop a project which consists of real-time object detection and object retrieval, as part of autonomous wheelchair navigation. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Comparing SIFT and SURF : Performance on patent drawings

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Christian Lindqvist; [2017]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In recent time, it has been found that one can use the images contained in patents in order to organize large collections of patents. This can be very helpful in order to reduce the time and resources required for handling patents. Research has resulted in systems that can find and compare specific images using content-based image retrieval (CBIR). LÄS MER

  5. 5. Taxonomy Based Image Retrieval : Taxonomy Based Image Retrieval using Data from Multiple Sources

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för datavetenskap och kommunikation (CSC)

    Författare :Jimmy Larsson; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Taxonomy; Image Retrieval; TBIR; CBIR; WordNet; Text-Based Image Search; Content-Based Image Search;

    Sammanfattning : With a multitude of images available on the Internet, how do we find what we are looking for? This project tries to determine how much the precision and recall of search queries is improved by using a word taxonomy on traditional Text-Based Image Search and Content-Based Image Search. By applying a word taxonomy to different data sources, a strong keyword filter and a keyword extender were implemented and tested. LÄS MER
