There are citizens in Sweden who have had a growing resentment towards the vaccination and the vaccination card, which has come to result in people connecting and establishing movements against the covid-19 vaccination through protests and demonstrations. With an exploratory and comparative approach, the study’s overall aim is to investigate how news regarding COVID-19 vaccines (including the vaccines themselves, vaccination campaigns, vaccine passports and mandates) has been portrayed in different Swedish alternative media outlets, and how this compares to traditional mainstream media.
