   Sammanfattning : E-mail is a non-verbal text based communication tool that today is used widely in organizations and perhaps because of its familiarity seen as just a tool with no complications. Can other ingredients affect the communication except the obvious missing non-verbal cues? The main purpose of this thesis was to examine how leaders experience their communication between the different public administrations, but also to see if the text based communication, in particular e-mail, and was affected by organizational culture and emotions.
