   Sammanfattning : This thesis examines how working women and women’s work tasks are described in novels by the Swedish author Per Anders Fogelström, and how the portrayal of working women changed during Fogelström’s long period of literary activity. The results show that working women, women’s work tasks and household chores are present in most novels, and that Fogelström had a distinct ability to portray living and working conditions specific for women.
