    Sammanfattning : Solute carriers consist of over 400 genes and 66 subfamilies and are the largest group of membrane bound transporters. They facilitate movement of many molecules through cells and organelles and are crucial for upholding many key functions in the human body. They are also involved in the pathophysiology of several diseases. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Benchmarking a 1 kW hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Jonathan Envall; [2023]
    Nyckelord :PEMFC; fuel cell; UAV; hybrid; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) offer great versatility in the tasks that they may perform and they are today used in many sectors. The H24LEO project, administered by the Lund University School of Aviation, aims to develop and demonstrate a hybrid proton-exchange membrane fuel cell-powered UAV to aid in search and rescue operations performed by the Swedish Maritime Administration, and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions compared to similar work performed by helicopters. 4. 4. Relations between intracellular pH and gamma-aminobutyric acid levels in tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves, after two types of anaerobic treatment

    L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. Of Plant Biology

    Författare :Mingmin Tao; [2023]
    Nyckelord :tea leaves; intracellular pH; gamma-aminobutyric acid; glutamate; decarboxylase; fluorescent dye;

    Sammanfattning : Tea (Camellia sinensis) is one of the three major non-alcoholic beverages in the world. In Gabaron tea, the levels of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) are more than 1.3 mg/g. In the human body, GABA lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Platelet function after storage in leukocyte : reduced whole blood and preheating to 37°C

    Kandidat-uppsats, Örebro universitet/Institutionen för medicinska vetenskaper

    Författare :Alma Bolmsvik; Sofia Bjelkvik; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Blood platelets; blood transfusion; flow cytometry; blood cell count; platelet membrane glycoproteins; platelet activation.;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Whole blood transfusions are indicated for the resuscitation of patients with hemorrhagic trauma. In Sweden, whole blood is stored for 14 days at 4°C. If possible, refrigerated blood is rewarmed to 37°C before transfusion to avoid hypothermia. Platelets contribute to hemostasis and can be activated with several pathways. LÄS MER
