    Sammanfattning : I tidigare studier har framkommit att elever med omfattande frånvaro är en heterogen grupp som det finns bristfällig kunskap om både vad gäller deras kunskaper och behov. Det saknas således mer djupgående studier om sambandet mellan godkänt betyg i matematik och omfattande frånvaro och vad som kan vara viktiga aspekter att ta hänsyn till för speciallärares/specialpedagogers arbete med att stötta en elev som befinner sig i omfattande frånvaro.
