  1. 21. Measurements of radioactivity in plant and soil samples taken near a nuclear power plant

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskaper

    Författare :Gjertrud Louise Langaas; [2016]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This project is a study of six soil and vegetation samples taken near the nuclear power plant at Ringhals, Sweden. The purpose was to detect any signs of radioactivity in the soil and vegetation originating from the plant, while simultaneously giving insight on the advantages and limitations of using equipment from the radioecology lab at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. 2. 22. Nucleocrats don't sleep : The Cataclysm of Chernobyl as a Result of Technocratic Culture

    Master-uppsats,

    Författare :Achim Klüppelberg; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Nuclear; Nucleocrats; Technocratic Culture; Chernobyl;

    Sammanfattning : Even though the disintegration of block four at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl happened a long time ago, the question of how this disaster could have developed is only insufficiently answered. Common interpretations with their emphasis on constructional and operative as well as regulative mistakes are not wrong, but describe instead only the symptoms and not the causes of the accident. 3. 23. Risk perception and WTP in connection to radioactive substances in food products

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Economics

    Författare :Malin Lokrantz; [2016]
    Nyckelord :risk perception; WTP; radioactive substances; food hazards; ordered probit model;

    Sammanfattning : Nuclear power accidents can have severe impact on land, animals and people. The perception of risk connected to nuclear power has been a topic for research for decades. Sweden was heavily effected by the nuclear accident at Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Approximately five percent of the radionuclides that spread ended up on Swedish ground. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Radioaktivt nedfall efter Tjernobylolyckan och den påverkan det haft på hjortdjur Cervidae och de människor som konsumerar köttet

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Public Health

    Författare :Sandra Lennartsson; [2014]
    Nyckelord :radioaktivt nedfall; Tjernobyl; cesium; hjortdjur; Cervidae; jägare; riskpopulation; radioactive fallout; Chernobyl; caesium; deer; hunters; risk population;

    Sammanfattning : Kärnkraftsolyckan i Tjernobyl 1986 spred radioaktivt nedfall över Europa och Sverige som kom att tas upp i ekosystemet av växter, djur och människor. I Sverige innebar det att älg (Alces alces), rådjur (Capreolus capreolus) och ren (Rangifer tarandus) fick förhöjda halter av Cesium-137, 137Cs, som i sin tur togs upp av de människor som åt av köttet. 5. 25. Information Inadequacy in Nuclear Power Plant Accidents

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för informatik (IK)

    Författare :Richard Bertilsson; [2014]
    Nyckelord :Information Inadequacy; Nuclear meltdown; Nuclear accident; Three Mile Island; Chernobyl; Fukushima Daiichi;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to compare the cause of the, to date, three onlycommercial nuclear power plant accidents. These are very complex incidents,which have dire impact on society and the environment and therefore benefitfrom further investigation, if there lays a possibility of identifying factors thatcould prevent further accidents in the future.
