  1. 1. Influence of Varying Electric Light Distribution on Melanopic Equivalent Daylight Illuminance and Lighting Energy Use

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign

    Författare :Rebecka Ståhl; Parvathy Biju; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Alertness; Circadian Entrainment; Clear Sky; Correlated Colour Temperature; Daylighting; Direct Electric Lighting; Direct-Indirect Electric Lighting; Energy-Efficiency; Grasshopper; Integrative Lighting; LARK 2.0; Melanopic Equivalent Daylight Illuminance; Overcast Sky; Photopic Illuminance; Spectral Power Distribution.; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Human beings in modern society spend more than 90% of their time indoors to live, work, and socialize. To improve health, quality of life and task performance, integrative lighting is designed to give the right light at the right time at the eye to stimulate circadian entrainment. LÄS MER

  2. 2. En studie om hur interiöra miljöer kan undersökas via ELF-metoden

    Kandidat-uppsats, Jönköping University/JTH, Byggnadsteknik och belysningsvetenskap

    Författare :Maria Wetterström Stålarm; Sofia Arvidsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :ELF-method; daylight; interior light; light; classroom; illuminate; light in classrooms; circadian light; ancient vision; ELF-metoden; dagsljus; interiört ljus; ljus; klassrum; belysning; klassrumsbelysning; cirkadiskt ljus; ursprunglig syn;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet har varit att undersöka hur olika interiöra miljöer kan återges med ELF-metoden (Environmental Light Field Method) och om resultaten skiljt sig åt i olika miljöer. Studien har genomförts som ett experiment på Jönköpings Tekniska Högskola och insamling av data har skett i lektionssalar, entré, bibliotek och utomhus genom en kvantitativ metod. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Building Orientation and Non-Image Forming Effects of Light. Connecting Simulation and reality in the case of Iggesund School.

    Magister-uppsats, KTH/Ljusdesign

    Författare :Gregor Ruta; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Alfa-Opic Metrics; Spectral Diet; OWL – Occupant Well-being through Lighting; Chronobiology; Daylight; Circadian Rhythmes; Melatonin; Vision;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years there has been an increase in the number of apartments in Sweden. The officials are estimating that approximately 1000 primary schools need to be built to meet the 20% increase in students. Facing the rising demand; my thesis makes a contribution to sustainable school design via optimisation of the building orientation. LÄS MER

  4. 4. re.BO.rn - Non-visual biometric response to polarized and non-polarized lights and their effect on sleep pattern

    Magister-uppsats, KTH/Ljusdesign

    Författare :Jelena Popov Abouhanian; [2022]
    Nyckelord :CircadianRhythm SleepQuality Non-VisualEttectsOfLight PolarisedFilters SelfReportedResearch;

    Sammanfattning : Obliged to respect the newly established regulations during COVID-19,  people worldwide had been forced for an extended period to a 24/7 stay at home. Due to the lack of movement, daylight, and fresh air, anxiety, depression, bad mood, sleep disorders, etc., could have been noticed in humans. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The Home-Office Lighting Kit

    Magister-uppsats, KTH/Ljusdesign

    Författare :Cristina Mordeglia; [2021]
    Nyckelord :ome-office lighting; student accommodations; visual comfort; focus on tasks; market analysis; IKEA Trådfri; Philips Hue; LEDVANCE Smart ; OSRAM; CASAMBI; Home-Office Lighting Kit; lighting scenarios.;

    Sammanfattning : This Master Thesis, inspired by the relevance that home-offices have assumed as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, originated from the architectural, quantitative, and qualitative analysis of lighting within the author’s student accommodation on KTH Main Campus, in Stockholm (Sweden). As a matter of fact, this background study proved that recommended lighting levels (Illuminance, Contrast Ratio, CCT, CRI, M-EDI, and DER values) were not met, making the space unsuitable and unhealthy to both live and work in.
