    Sammanfattning : My purpose with this essay was to understand the contact persons view of his/her own professional role/identity, and the specific work environment at a correctional facility as an organization. To reach my purpose I answered three questions: how the correctional organization affect the individual contact person and their workmanship seen from a professional perspective, how contact persons find their professional role and professional identity, and what obstacles and possibilities there are within the job as a contact person in corrections.
