    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to carry out a comparative analysis of the two speeches made during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic by the French President Emmanuel Macron and the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven in order to identify their differences and try to understand their connection to the political events that followed.
