   Sammanfattning : Fokus i denna uppsats är relationen mellan tre forskningsfält: svensk kritisk ras- och rasismforskning, den interkulturella pedagogiken respektive forskning på ras i utbildning och SLA. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utforska konstruktiva förbindelser mellan dessa forskningsfält och inom dem centrala begrepp, vilket görs genom en diffraktiv läsning av ett urval av svensk kritisk ras- och rasismforskning, två verk om interkulturell pedagogik samt ett urval av svensk och internationell forskning på ras i andraspråksutbildning.
