Detta föranledde regeringen att utreda möjliga lösningar för att vårdnadsöverflyttningen i sådana fall skulle kunna göras snabbare, och resulterade i införandet av 6 kap 10 d § föräldrabalken som möjliggör förordnande av en tillfällig vårdnadshavare för barnet i fall där en särskilt förordnad vårdnadshavare bör utses men det inte finns någon lämplig för uppdraget. The starting point is the puzzling fact that Dante places Bruto and Cassius in the deepest pit of Hell but makes Cato the custodian of Mount Purgatory, bound for everlasting glory in Paradise at the Day of Judgement, even though all three of them were on the same side in the war against Julius Ceasar at the end of the Roman Republic.
