1. Consumer perspectives towards monetization and its impact on AAA game designs
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för speldesignSammanfattning : Monetization is now a fundamental aspect of video game creation and currently, all developers are trying to utilize it in the various designs of their games. Contemplating the monetized aspect of video games, this research has seen a gap in the studies pertaining to monetization from the perspective of the consumers, who are also the gamers and the buyers of these monetization designs. 2. Load profiling and customer segmentation for demand-side management
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The energy transition is accompanied by massive electrification of uses and sectors such as transport. As a result, the pressure on the electricity grid is increasing, and the time to connect to the power system is lengthening. LÄS MER
4. Modeling of carbon plasma discharges in high-power impulse magnetron sputtering
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Plasma och ytbeläggningsfysikSammanfattning : Diamond like carbon (DLC) is a metastable state of amorphous carbon that has very important and wide-ranging thin film applications. DLC has a strong resemblance to pure diamond and exhibits many traits of real diamond, like mechanical hardness and chemical inertness, but with a drastically lower deposition cost. LÄS MER
5. SUSTAINABLE LUBRICATION FOR FUTURE TRANSMISSIONS : Micropitting performance of Glycerol-based lubricants
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematikSammanfattning : Achieving sustainable lubrication by using environmentally friendly formulated lubricants has became an essential component of the transition process from fossil-powered vehicles to electrified transportation. Mixtures, or aqueous solutions of molecules such as polyhydroxy alcohols, and glycols usually known as green lubricants make it possible to achieve low friction coefficients under different lubrication conditions, which constitutes a potential alternative to improve the tribological performance of moving parts in automotive systems, at the same time that the environmental requirements are satisfied.
