1. Statistical Modelling of Price Difference Durations Between Limit Order Books: Applications in Smart Order Routing
Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematisk statistikSammanfattning : The modern electronic financial market is composed of a large amount of actors. With the surge in algorithmic trading some of these actors collectively behave in increasingly complex ways. Historically, academic research related to financial markets has been focused on areas such as asset pricing, portfolio management and financial econometrics. LÄS MER
2. Game Boy Emulation
Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : This thesis studies the subject of system emulation through the development of a set of software microcontrollers and the assembling of them into a complex system. The specific system aimed to be emulated is the original Game Boy released in 1989. LÄS MER
3. Compression and Distribution of a Neural Network With IoT Applications
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : In order to enable deployment of large neuralnetwork models on devices with limited memory capacity, refinedmethods for compressing these are essential. This project aimsat investigating some possible solutions, namely pruning andpartitioned logit based knowledge distillation, using teacherstudentlearning methods. LÄS MER
4. GPU Predictor-Corrector Interior Point Method for Large-Scale Linear Programming
Master-uppsats, KTH/Numerisk analys, NASammanfattning : This master’s thesis concerns the implementation of a GPUaccelerated version of Mehrotra’s predictor-corrector interior point algorithm for large-scale linear programming (LP). The implementations are tested on LP problems arising in the financial industry, where there is high demand for faster LP solvers. LÄS MER
5. Dependence on pH of Structural and Dynamical Changes of a Calmodulin Domain Mutant
Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologi; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakultetenSammanfattning : Calmodulin (CaM) is a highly conserved protein able to bind Ca2+. When Ca2+ is bound the protein can bind and activate further proteins with several individual functions. CaM switches to a more open conformation when Ca2+-bound and is able to do so at a high rate. Little is known about the conformational switches between apo and Ca2+-bound states. LÄS MER
