  1. 1. Systematics and the evolution of flower symmetry of Posoqueria (Rubiaceae)

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Sebastián Giraldo Gómez; [2023-06-14]
    Nyckelord :Posoquerieae; Cinchonoideae; Ixoroideae; Dialypetalanthoideae; Angiosperms 353; target capture; Hybpiper; Pollen Catapult Mechanism.;

    Sammanfattning : The genus Posoqueria is a Neotropical group of shrubs and trees in the coffee family Rubiaceae. Posoqueria is phylogenetically poorly understood and presents several internal taxonomical difficulties. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Identification and expression of genes involved in the arabinoxylan biosynthetic pathway in oat

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Plant Protection Biology

    Författare :Johan Valeur; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Arabinoxylan; Oat; Gene expression analysis;

    Sammanfattning : Oat is one of the most cultivated cereal crops in the world, and Arabinoxylan (AX) is a dietary fiber in oats with positive health effects. The biosynthetic pathway AX in Oat is still unknown, and which genes are active in its production. Ortholog genes have been identified in oat from other species like rice, wheat, barley, and Arabidopsis. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Analysis of DNA methylation changes and behavioural outcomes in adulthood induced by prenatal exposure to a mixture of endocrine disrupting chemicals

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Författare :Shane Kamil; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Toxicology; Developmental biology; Epigenetics; Genetics; Methylation; EDC; Toxins; Chemicals; Mixture effect; Mediation; Toxikologi; Utvecklingsbiologi; Epigenetik; Genetik; Metylering; Miljögifter;

    Sammanfattning : Endocrine disrupting chemicals, or EDCs, are some of the most prevalent toxic chemicals found in the environment because of human activity and they have a variety of adverse effects on both humans and wildlife. A proposed mechanism through which EDCs can negatively affect an organism is via an epigenetic mechanism known as DNA methylation, which can affect the development of the organism with negative outcomes later in life. 4. 4. Estimation of flowering potential and growth pattern on everbearing strawberry Fragaria x ananassa, cv. Favori

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Plant Protection Biology

    Författare :Josefine Lundblad; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Strawberry; everbearing; morphological description; flower mapping; thermophotoperiod; yield; growth; development; yield prognosis;

    Sammanfattning : Flower mapping is a morphological mapping method that can be used in strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) plant production to get an insight of the status, numbers and the developmental stages of flower buds. It is commonly used by nurseries in order to evaluate plant management techniques to achieve enhanced yield potential over time. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Arabidopsis myrosinases; analysis of developmental expression and effects of microorganisms

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Department of Plant Biology (from 140101)

    Författare :Mohammad Atikur Rahman; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Alternaria brassicicola; Arabidopsis thaliana; Bacillus amyloliquefaciens; Brassicaceae; Glucosinolates; Myrosinase; Myrosin cells; Thioglucoside glucohydrolase TGG ;

    Sammanfattning : Glukosinolater är sekundärmetaboliter som studerats främst I växter av familjen Brassicaceae.När växtvävnad skadas genomgår glukosinolater en hydrolysprocess initierad av enzymetmyrosinas (EC 3.2.1. LÄS MER
