    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to explore sea-level rise (SLR) exposure in South-East England by conducting a broad analysis of some of the possible impacts of inundation in the region under different SLR scenarios in a warming climate. The potential effects of coastal inundation were mapped and quantified by applying a modified bathtub modelling approach in GIS to a low-elevation coastal Digital Terrain Model (DTM) derived from up-to-date, high-resolution, high-accuracy LiDAR data.     Sammanfattning : Dimmuborgir is thought to be a former rootless shield volcano, which was fed with lava from a nearby crater row, 2170 ± 38 calendar years before present. In this study, the orientation of striations on the sides of lava channels, collapse structures and lava pillars were measured to find out how the enigmatic ~2 km by 2 km volcanic structure at Dimmuborgir was drained.     Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a way to generate a Digital Terrain Model (dtm) from a Digital Surface Model (dsm) and multi spectral images (including the Near Infrared (nir) color band).
