    Sammanfattning : Myotonic Dystrophy (MD) is an inherited neuromuscular disorder that leads to a wide range of clinical signs including stiffness, abnormal muscle relaxation, and muscle atrophy or hypertrophy. Affected muscles develop a prolonged contracture in response to percussion of the muscle and show waxing and waning complex repetitive discharges in electromyography (EMG). LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Utsläpp av orenat spillvatten till de naturliga vattendragen kan ge stora negativa effekter på det akvatiska ekosystemet och på människans hälsa genom exempelvis övergödning, toxisk påverkan på vattenlevande organismer, sjukdomsspridning och antibiotikaresistens. Reningsverk i större tätorter är idag anpassade för att rena spillvatten från kväve och fosfor, men de flesta reningsverk i Sverige saknar kväverening och är i låg grad anpassade för att rena avloppsvattnet från organiska mikroföroreningar.     Sammanfattning : The collections of the Vasa Museum in Stockholm Sweden not only include the world’s only complete 17th century warship, the famous Vasa who sank on her maiden voyage outside Stockholm in the summer of 1628, but also a unique and extensive collection of dress artifacts, fragments from clothes in textile and leather recovered during the excavation of the ship. This study aims to present historical narratives about the labour, knowledge of craft and everyday life of the ship’s crew by analysing leather mittens and other types of artifacts related to the work on board as material culture, aided by early modern Dutch depictions in art showing work being done on large ships contemporary with Vasa.
