1. Examining the Influence of Disfluencies on Reaction Time : An Exploratory Study Investigating the Impact of Entropy in Language
Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskapSammanfattning : The current study aimed to investigate the effects of disfluencies, specifically filled pauses (FP) and unfilled pauses (UP), on reaction time (RT) to target words and hyponyms of target hypernyms(targets = target words + hyponyms of target hypernyms). Two experiments were conducted, withthe first experiment examining the impact of disfluencies on RTs to target words in utterances, whilethe second experiment explored their effect on hyponyms of target hypernyms. 2. Speech Fluency and Ageing
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för lingvistik och kognitiv semiotik; Lunds universitet/Allmän språkvetenskapSammanfattning : Several physiological changes in the speech production process in old age have been documented, yet studies of cognitive changes are few and inconclusive. The current study investigates changes in rates of disfluencies, rates of speech errors and speech rate to examine if speech fluency changes throughout the adult lifespan, as well as whether the influence of task complexity on fluency remains constant regardless of the age of the speaker. 4. Kan stamningsbeteenden hos förskolebarn predicera om stamning blir bestående eller övergående? : En explorativ studie
Magister-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Blom Johansson: LogopediSammanfattning : Stamning debuterar vanligtvis i förskoleåldern.
5. Screaming yellow: An exploratory study of how speakers gesture and speak about colour and colour theory
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Masterprogram: Språk och språkvetenskapSammanfattning : The abstract subject of colour is a widely studied subject in spoken languages.
