2. A Borel-Cantelli lemma for non-stationary dynamical systems
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTHSammanfattning : In this thesis we present a Borel–Cantelli lemma for dynamical systems such that the dynamics driving the system varies with time. These results are largely based on a decomposition of transfer operators produced by Rychlik. Some limitations on the structure of sequences that is necessary for the results is given some discussion. LÄS MER
3. Data Assimilation for Systems with Multiple Timescales
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : This text provides an overview of problems in the field of data assimilation. We explore the possibility of recreating unknown data by continuously inserting known data into certain dynamical systems, under certain regularity assumptions. LÄS MER
4. Start of a new design method for a competitive Small Modular Reactor (SMR) adaptable to future uses
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : As cyber-physical systems become increasingly complex, the management and verification of requirements during design is essential. A new language called CRML (Common Requirement Modelling Language) has been created during the European EMBrACE project to formalize realistic dynamical requirements, but a method for representing these requirements and a framework for using them as a design aid must be defined to ease appropriation by engineers. 5. Short-horizon Prediction of Indoor Temperature using Low-Order Thermal Networks : A case study of thermal models for heat-system control applications
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Optimizing and controlling the heating systems in buildings is one way to decrease their load on the power grid, as well as introduce load flexibility to be used in Demand Response (DR) applications. A requirement in occupied buildings is that the thermal comfort of the residents is guaranteed, making the optimization of heating systems a constrained problem with respect to indoor temperature.
