11. Evaluation of cognitive workload using EEG : Investigation of how sensory feedback improves function of osseo-neuromuscular upper limb prostheses
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för medicinsk teknikSammanfattning : The e-OPRA Implant System (Integrum AB, Sweden) is a system which employs permanently accessible implantable neuromuscular electrodes in combination with osseointegrated attachment of the prosthesis to the skeleton, in order to create a more natural control of advanced robotic upper-limb prostheses. The system enables the possibility of sensory feedback, via a cuff electrode to the ulnar nerve which allows for direct neurostimulation of the nerve. LÄS MER
12. Visual Perception of the Facial Width-to-Height Ratio : Possible Influences of Angry Facial Expressions as Revealed by Event-Related Brain Potentials
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för biovetenskapSammanfattning : The facial width-to-height ratio (fWHR) is a measure of the cheekbone width divided by the height of the face from the upper lip to the brows. The metric is hypothesised to have evolved as an intra-sexual competition mechanism in males, where large fWHRs are thought to signal both threat and aggression. LÄS MER
13. An Exploration of Temporal Context in the Recollection of Previously Encoded Events
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologiSammanfattning : The effect of temporal context in the encoding and retrieval of facial stimuli was examined based on behavioural and EEG data collection during a cued recall memory task. Participants were found to have greater accuracy in their recollection of serial list items encoded before a correctly retrieved facial stimulus in comparison to those encoded after a correctly retrieved facial stimulus. 14. Exploring the Neural Correlates of Auditory Awareness
Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Psykologiska institutionenSammanfattning : Neural correlates of consciousness (NCCs) represent the physiological processes related to consciousness and awareness. Consciousness is theorized as a recurrent process of integration between separate but specialized brain areas. LÄS MER
