  1. 1. In-Situ Investigation of Particle Assisted GaSb Nucleation Using Environmental TEM

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :Aidas Urbonavicius; [2023]
    Nyckelord :ETEM; Nucleation; GaSb; Nanowires; Materials chemistry; Technology and Engineering; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : III-V semiconductor material based nanowires have been extensively studied and shown to be a very exciting building block for future electronics. Material systems such as GaSb show a lot of promise in optoelectric and thermoelectric generation applications because of its high electron mobility and small bandgap. LÄS MER

  2. 2. In-situ Growth of Sn-seeded GaAs and GaSb Nanowire Heterostructures

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :Azemina Kraina; [2023]
    Nyckelord :nanowire; heterostructure; ETEM; MOCVD; TEM; in-situ; Sn; GaAs; GaSb; materials chemistry; Technology and Engineering; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : One of the ways to utilize III-V nanowires, is to make use of the possibility to combine materials and create heterostructures which allows for creating material combinations with new properties. A special interest can be taken into Sb-containing nanowires due to the high electron mobility, however there has been reported difficulties with switching to other materials because of a 'memory effect' where Sb lingers in the system and nanowire. 3. 3. Reduction of iron oxide by hydrogen studied using environmental transmission electron microscopy

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :David Wahlqvist; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Transmission Electron Microscopy; Electron Diffraction; Iron Oxide; Reduction; Iron; Environmental Transmission Electron Microscopy; ETEM; Materials chemistry; Materialkemi; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to explore how the reduction of iron oxide by hydrogen should be explored in an environmental transmission electron microscope (ETEM). This is done by performing a series of reduction attempts in the ETEM at nCHREM, Lund University, and exploring how the ETEM conditions are different from those used commercially. LÄS MER
