  1. 1. Sjuksköterskors följsamhet till Early Warning Score samt faktorer som påverkar denna följsamhet inom akutsjukvård : En integrativ litteraturstudie

    Magister-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för hälso- och vårdvetenskap (HV)

    Författare :Sofia Svensson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Adherence; Compliance; Early Warning Score; Emergency care; EWS; Nurses; Akutsjukvård; Early Warning Score; EWS; Följsamhet; Sjuksköterskor;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: Inom akutsjukvård är bedömning av patientens vitalparametrar, det vill säga andningsfrekvens, saturation, puls, blodtryck, kroppstemperatur och medvetandegrad, sjuksköterskans ansvar och därmed en viktig arbetsuppgift. Tidig identifiering av försämring i patientens tillstånd, har i tidigare studier visat sig bidra till både minskad morbiditet och mortalitet. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Behind the early warning: Improving impact-based forecasting of riverine floods in Malawi using passive microwave remote sensing

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Lone Mokkenstorm; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Physical Geography; Ecosystem Analysis; Early Warning; Riverine Floods; Humanitarian Work; Impact-based Forecasting; Malawi; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates whether freely available, coarse-resolution, Passive Microwave Remote Sensing (PMRS) data (37 GHz) can be effectively used for early warning systems for floods in Malawi. The Shire River Basin in Chikwawa and the smaller-scale North Rukuru River Basin in Karonga were studied using two alternative, ratio-based satellite indices that make use of the signal difference between wet and dry pixel cells: The m index and the rcmc index.
