  1. 21. Stop to recharge will be a thing of the past

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Produktionsekonomi

    Författare :Måns Hultin; Sebastian Palmqvist; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Case study; Electric Road System; Ports; Container terminals; Electrification; Implementation compatibility; Closed-looped transportation systems; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Electric road systems can be defined as a system transferring energy from a road to an electric vehicle while the vehicle is in motion, either to power the vehicle’s movement or to charge its batteries. This thesis aimed to investigate how this relatively new technology of electric road systems could be implemented in a port. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Energy flows and potential energy development strategies in RoRo ports: A study based on the Port of Trelleborg

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Gabriele Gonzales; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RoRo Ports; Energy Flows; Energy Development; Energy Strategies; Renewable Energy; Ports; Energy Hub; Energy Storage; Hydrogen; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The recent push for decarbonization in the maritime sector presents an opportunity for ports to strengthen their position as energy hubs. This work studies the existing energy flows in the Port of Trelleborg, one of Europe's biggest roll-on, roll-off ports, and proposes some energy-related development strategies. LÄS MER

  3. 23. When is Electric Freight Cost Competitive? : Computational modeling and simulation of total cost of ownership for electric truck fleets

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för ekonomisk och industriell utveckling

    Författare :Anton Zackrisson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :electric freight; battery-electric trucks; total cost of ownership; decision making under deep uncertainty DMDU ; cost-competitiveness; exploratory modeling and analysis EMA ; EMA workbench; quasi-Monte Carlo method; VRP; EVRP; elektrifiering; godstransport; elektriska lastbilar; total ägandekostnad; kostnadskonkurrenskraft; ruttoptimering;

    Sammanfattning : Battery electric trucks (BETs) offer environmental benefits in terms of reduced carbon emissions and enhanced energy efficiency but have been challenged with economic viability compared to conventional internal combustion engine trucks (ICETs) caused by substantial acquisition costs, limited charging infrastructure, and concerns regarding range and payload capacity.  Previous studies focus on TCO at the vehicle or policy level but overlook the system and firm-level impacts. 4. 24. Utveckling av cykellampa : För ökad synlighet i trafiken

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Jessica Wiberg; Kaspar McKenzie; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Företaget Bookman AB kom med uppdraget att ta fram en cykellampa som är kompatibel med befintliga elcyklar. Detta eftersom elcykeln växer på dagens marknad. Under förstudien ansågs det däremot vara en mer rimlig väg för företaget att sälja sina lampor till producenter av elcyklar för att ta sig in på marknaden. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Changing Transport Strategy to Off-Peak Hour Delivery in Gothenburg and Copenhagen - Lessons and Recommendations learned from the New York and Stockholm Pilot Projects

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Diego Henriquez; Konstantinos Stavrou; [2022-08-03]
    Nyckelord :Off-Peak Hour Delivery; Urban Freight Transport; Stakeholders; Traffic Congestion; Environmental Pollution; Electric Vehicle;

    Sammanfattning : The pattern of urbanisation is determined by a set of complex aspects in social, economic, environmental, as well as technological that increases the concentration of the population in urban settlements. Many cities are experiencing difficulties and immense pressure on the infrastructure by declining traffic conditions with a series of issues including longer transit times, increased fuel consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions, prompting stakeholders and policymakers to tackle the issue by introducing alternative solutions to utilise the urban infrastructure more efficiently.
