  1. 1. Techno-economic analysis and simulation of low temperature district heating networks

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö

    Författare :Ilia Iarkov; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Low-temperature district heating; Modelica; BTES; LCA; LCC; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The continuous increase in global energy consumption has led to a greater focus on the energy required for heating buildings. This thesis presents a techno-economic model for analysing low-temperature district heating networks coupled with a geothermal heat source. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Performance evaluation of domestic solar power installations in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Felix Monthan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In the past two decades the global electricity demand all over the world has increased by 82%, thisis a result of improved living standards, growing populations, electrification of vehicles and growing demand for digital devices. In Sweden, electricity generation from solar power is relatively small and equates to about 0. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Hosting Capacity Methods Considering Complementarity between Solar and Wind Power : A Case Study on a Swedish Regional Grid

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Energisystem

    Författare :Emma Andersson; Maja Abrahamsson Bolstad; [2023]
    Nyckelord :hosting capacity; hosting capacity methods; renewable power generation; power grid; power system analysis; complementarity; solar power; wind power; deterministic method; time series method;

    Sammanfattning : The demand for electrical power is growing due to factors such as population growth, urbanisation, and the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. To be able to keep up with the changes in electricity demand, the Swedish power grid must connect more renewable power generation, but also  increase its transmission capacity. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Non-proliferation and safeguards aspects of SMR’s in Sweden : A study on the future electricity demand in Sweden and the implications on nuclear safeguards from the deployment of SMRs in Sweden

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad kärnfysik

    Författare :Waldemar Andersson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :SMR; Small modular reactor; Safeguards; Non-proliferation;

    Sammanfattning : This project aims to investigate and analyze crucial aspects related to the deployment of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in Sweden. SMRs have risen as a competitor to large-scale nuclear power plants with cost-competitiveness and cogeneration purposes in focus. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Analysing the effects of 24/7 Carbon-free Energy procurement strategies on the electricity system : Case Study of commercial and industrial sector in the Netherlands

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :NINA JABŁOŃSKA; [2023]
    Nyckelord :24 7 Carbon-free Energy; carbon accounting; corporate electricity procurement; Energy Attribute Certificates; hourly matching; the Netherlands.; 24 7 kolfri energi; koldioxidredovisning; företagens elupphandling; energiattributcertifikat; timmatchning; Nederländerna.;

    Sammanfattning : Considering the growing importance of the electricity sector in the worldwide decarbonisation efforts, as well as large volumes of energy consumed by the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, corporate power procurement is found to be a significant contributor to building a net zero economy. Within this topic, hourly matching of carbon-free electricity supply with demand, or 24/7 Carbon-free Energy (24/7 CFE), is identified as a next-generation power procurement framework, with growing interest from a wide range of stakeholders in the energy sector and benefits backed by robust research evidence.
