  1. 1. Enabling a sustainable transition of a waterborne transport system : By identifying essential aspects and actors

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Julia Apelgren; Sara Kronvall; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sustainable transition; Waterborne transport system; Transport system; Public transport system; Fossil free fuels; System theory; Passenger ferry; Commuter ferry; Electric ferry; Hållbar omställning; Vattenburet transport system; Transport system; Kollektivtrafik; Fossila bränslen; Systemteori; Passagerarfärja; Pendelbåt; Elektrisk färja;

    Sammanfattning : In light of the emerging consequences of climate change, there is a need for a sustainable transition of the marine sector, including waterborne transport systems, towards implementation of fossil free fuels and technologies. The thesis limits its scope to solely include passenger ferries that are suitable for calm waters and often operates on shorter distances, which are often incorporated in a public transport system and/or archipelago traffic. 2. 2. Hållbarhetscertifiering av anläggningsprojekt : En utvärdering av CEEQUAL i Svenska kraftnäts utbyggnad av transmissionsnätet

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Byggteknik och byggd miljö

    Författare :Cecilia Stern; [2022]
    Nyckelord :CEEQUAL; sustainability assessment tool; sustainability; transmission system; construction projects; Swedish transmission system operator; CEEQUAL; hållbarhetscertifiering; hållbarhet; anläggningsprojekt; Svenska kraftnät; transmissionsnätet; luftledningsprojekt; anläggning; hållbarhetsverktyg; miljöanalys; certifiering; miljöcertifiering;

    Sammanfattning : Svenska kraftnät is the transmission system operator in Sweden, their responsibilities include renewing and expanding the existing transmission system to keep up with the rising demand for electricity. The ongoing climate crisis demands the process of expanding the transmission system to be as sustainable as possible. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Sovereign Green Sukuk: An Analysis of Its Process and Barriers to Funding Renewable Energy Projects in Indonesia

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Danar Anindito Mujizat; [2021]
    Nyckelord :sovereign green sukuk; green sukuk; green bond; renewable energy power plant; climate change; sustainable development.;

    Sammanfattning : Indonesia launched a sovereign green sukuk in 2018 to fund green projects that can contribute to addressing climate change and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This issuance also marked  the first sovereigngreen sukuk issuance in the world. Since then, Indonesia has issued five sovereign green sukuks and has mobilized 3. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Reasoning and rationale behind the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme in the aviation sector

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/LUCSUS

    Författare :Adam Elias Laugesen; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Aviation; ICAO; CORSIA; Offsetting; Governmentality; Sustainability Science; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : To reach the Paris-agreement target of no more than a 1,5 to 2 degree rise in global temperature, CO2 emissions need to reach net zero by 2050. This includes emissions from aviation. The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has been designated emission reduction responsibility for transnational emissions. LÄS MER

  5. 5. A carbon budget for Rostock: Suggestions for a fair local contribution to the Paris Agreement in view of current climate targets

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Luise Lukow; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Sustainable Development; Carbon budgets; Local carbon budget; Climate targets; Paris Agreement; Emission inventory;

    Sammanfattning : The increase of global average temperature depends linearly on the amount of carbon dioxide that is accumulating in the atmosphere. Consequently, the determination of a temperature target that should not be exceeded, corresponds to an amount of carbon dioxide that can still be emitted. This is referred to as a carbon budget.
