1. A case study of SCADA implementation for small electrical producers in WideQuick
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för reglerteknikSammanfattning : The escalating demand for electricity requires the deployment of reliable, secure, and efficient energy production methods. This master thesis explores the utilization of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in power plants to meet these requirements. LÄS MER
2. Integrating Local Knowledge into the Spatial Analysis of Wind Power: The case study of Northern Tzoumerka, Greece
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Increasing demand for incorporating renewable energy projects into the national energy mix, is associated with international and European efforts to tackle the negative effects of climate change and strengthen energy resilience. Greece, as a member country of the European Union, has acknowledged that necessity, by implementing a national program aiming to significantly reduce Green House Gas Emissions and upscale Renewable Energy Sources (RES) project development in upcoming years. 3. Evaluation of Swedish daylight regulations in university building - Validation and applicability
Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : Daylight availability in buildings faces numerous challenges in a world where energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and sustainability take center stage. Daylight is well-known for its role in reducingartificial lighting consumption and enhancing the well-being and performance of building occupants. LÄS MER
4. Peak Load Shaving Strategies of an Office Building : A Case Study at AirSon
Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för företagande, innovation och hållbarhetSammanfattning : Introduction: The global demand for renewable energy is expected to grow annually due to rising electricity consumption and economic and regulatory incentives. Efficient consumption and management of electricity consumption can support this trend (shifting from fossil resources to renewable resources) and benefit companies economically by reducing peak loads, reducing subscription costs, and protecting companies' power systems and networks. 5. Energy efficiency and fiscal incentives : A stochastic frontier analysis of Swedish manufacturing sectors 2008-2020
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/NationalekonomiSammanfattning : This thesis is a case study of the Swedish manufacturing industry in which I measure how efficiently each sector uses energy (fuel and electricity) as input goods in their production processes, and how significant the impact of Sweden’s energy tax is in regard to energy efficiency. The purpose of this is to analyze energy security and preparedness for short-term demand shocks for electricity, as many ‘mega-investments’ of industrial nature are being planned in Sweden – which are predicted to require the installed capacity of Sweden’s electricity production to almost double by 2045.
