16. Breaking WebAssembly Crypto Miner Detection by Obfuscation
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Blockchain-based cryptocurrencies is a fairly new concept with a worldwide spread, and there is a massive amount of currencies. Several of them involve so-called currency mining, a feature of Proof-of-Work based blockchains. LÄS MER
17. Determining backgrounds with misidentified leptons in the ATLAS Higgs boson analysis
Master-uppsats, KTH/FysikSammanfattning : This thesis presents an analysis of misidentified leptons in the Higgs boson decaychannel H → W W ∗ → lνlν. Misidentified leptons, resulting from jets misidentifiedas leptons, mimic the signal of a Higgs boson decay, resulting in a backgroundcontribution to the signal. LÄS MER
18. The Higgs Width in Higgs production in association with a W+ boson
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : The width of the Higgs boson is a quantity that cannot be measured directly from the on-shell Higgs peak; it would have to be measured indirectly. In 2013, Caola and Melnikov developed a method to determine the Higgs width by using off-shell and on-shell cross-sections and applying the narrow-width approximation. LÄS MER
19. IoT - based Microseismic Detector
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknikSammanfattning : Rockfall, which is the detachment of rocks from a mountain, is a major hazard in the mining industry. To help combat this issue, this thesis aims to develop a sensor platform that is able to detect both the potential risk for rockfall and if any rocks do hit the ground. LÄS MER
20. Characterisation of the LYCCA Double-Sided Silicon Strip Detectors
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysikSammanfattning : The goal of this thesis work is to describe the methods used and perform comprehensive testing of the Double-Sided Silicon-Strip Detectors (DSSD) prior to their implementation in the Lund-York-Cologne CAlorimeter (LYCCA) detector. In the framework of this project, the DSSD characterisation was carried out to ensure specification compliance prior to their "in-kind contribution" delivery to the HISPEC experiment at the NUSTAR collaboration.
